Canandaigua—New York Senate Candidate Pam Helming today announced that the Business Council of New York State has endorsed her candidacy for the 54th Senate District.
“Thank you to the Business Council for their endorsement and support of my candidacy for state Senate. It is an honor to receive this endorsement and I look forward to working with the Business Council as we fight to revitalize the Upstate New York economy by expanding economic growth, creating jobs and growing our communities,” said Helming.
“Supervisor Helming is well-positioned to continue the strong pro-jobs, pro-growth representation the people of the 54th Senate District have come to expect,” said Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. “In her current role, Ms. Helming is all too familiar with the structural challenges impeding economic growth throughout upstate New York. Through her actions, Supervisor Helming has proven she has a keen grasp of the issues affecting the employer community and we look forward to working with her to improve the lives of all New Yorkers, especially the people of the 54th Senate District.”
“As Town Supervisor, I fully recognize the impact unfunded mandates and the crushing tax burdens have on businesses in our town, region and state. Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and as Senator, I will continue to my efforts to support job growth, cut taxes and remove unnecessary regulations that impede job development,” concluded Helming.
Helming is the endorsed Republican, Conservative, and Independence Party candidate for the 54th District State Senate seat.
